It has been really slow lately since Albertsons has closed but this week is a great way to get back into things! I love each year when the Super Bowl comes around because Smith's always holds a big sale with great deals! This sale goes on for 2 weeks (until Feb. 9th) They sometimes add or take away a couple of items that are on sale during the second week but for the most part, it stays the same. The sale consists of buying 10 participating products and $5 will be taken off at register. There is no limit so you can buy as many items, in increments of 10, as you like. I went to the Smith's in Provo today and they were very well stocked with everything except for the Solo products. I will have to go back for those! Buy Low Market in Provo

This week at most Associated Food Stores there is a big sale on Chex cereal and Pillsbury rolls. After looking through the different ads I noticed that each store has different prices for the items that are on sale. The store with the best prices for the same product was Buy Low Market in Provo. The deal for the cereal and rolls is for every 4 boxes of Chex (Rice, Corn, or Wheat) you buy, they will take $4 off making them $.98 each. And the same for the rolls, you buy 4 and they will take $2 off making them $.98 also. They usually have great deals at this store but I rarely get out that direction. While there, I was able to find a few great deals that I thought I would share.

I went to Smith's yesterday and am barely getting around to posting today with all the Halloween festivities going on! Smith's is having an awesome sale this week! They are having a Mega event where you buy 10 participating items and $5 will be taken off at checkout. You don't have to do different transactions as there is no limit on how many groups of 10 items you buy. There are so many great items to stock up on, and they have been very well stocked at the store! They are getting another shipment in tonight (Sunday) so if you haven't gone yet then tomorrow would be a great day to go! This week is also a great week for printable coupons. There are a lot of printable coupons that you can use for this sale but also a lot of coupons found in the newspaper. In yesterday's (Oct. 18) SLT and DMN newspapers, there were Albertsons inserts with 3 doubler coupons on them. I didn't think we would see anymore doubles from Albertsons with the change/switchover happening soon but I am happy to have them one more time! And an extra added bonus is they don't expire until the 24th!! So gather your coupons and hit Albertsons to find some great deals! Albertsons and Maceys through 9/15

I made a quick trip to both Albertsons and Macey's today for some really great deals. In yesterdays (Sunday) newspaper there are 3 double coupons for Albertsons so make sure and look for those. They are on page A4 in the Salt Lake Tribune and A6 in the Deseret Morning News but there are not any in the Daily Herald.

Starting 9/11 through 9/26 (at Albertsons) a $5 OYNSO catalina will print for every $15 worth of participating Campbells and Pepperidge Farm products you buy. This week chicken noodle and tomato soup is on sale for $.50 ea. I bought 30 cans and used 6 coupons for $.40/4 from SS 9/13 or you can use printable coupons from HERE for $1/2 (I just barely found that coupon so I didn't use it) Final price: $.42 ea PLUS the $5 catalina printed to use on my next trip (if you factor in the catalina and use the doubles it ends up being $.20 ea)

Also, Life Savers are on sale for $1. Inside select flavors (it says on the bag) there are $1/1 coupons making them FREE

I used the three double coupons that I cut out of the newspaper, my $10 catalina (two $5) from my last trip and my total came to $2.10!!!! and I still have the $5 catalina to use next time!

At Macey's they are having their caselot sale. There are a lot of great deals, especially if you are not wanting to buy a whole case (if you do want to buy a whole case, most things are cheaper at Smith's this week but they make you buy the case to get the sale price.) But I ran across a few really great deals at Macey's while I was there.

Frosted Mini Wheats Little Bites on sale for $2.50 on select boxes there are peelies for "get this box FREE with purchase of any other Kelloggs cereal 12.5 oz or larger." I bought two boxes and used the peelie and a coupon that I cut out of the mini size boxes I had bought awhile back for $1/1. Final price:$.75 ea

Yesterday while I was at the Women's Expo at UVU I noticed signs and arrows pointing to a Shade clothing sale on the side lawn by the entrance to the baseball field! I am so happy I came across this sale because everything is $5!! There are shirts, shorts, capris, swim suits, skirts, etc... Today (9/12) is the last day of the sale and they are closing at 7 p.m. So hurry and go grab some great clothes for an extra great price!!

** As much as I like biscuits, I prefer homemade ones. But these biscuits are great to cut a hole in the middle and fry in oil then cover with a glaze for a nice semi-homemade doughnut! It will be perfect for a fun labor day treat! :)

ConAgra sale at Albertsons

There is a ConAgra sale at Albertsons this week. If you buy $25 worth of participating products, a catalina will print for $10 OYNSO. This is a great sale even if you don't have very many coupons. There have been a lot of people that have recieved coupons in the mail that would go great witht his sale. Remember the prices on these products are not wonderful but when you factor in the $10 catalina, it's like getting everything for $15 (before coupons!!!)

So I know it has been a couple of weeks since I posted. But I have been at family reunions and other things that I didnt' have time to even go shopping during that time! But this week (last day is Tuesday) is definitely full of sales that you don't want to miss. At Albertsons they have Kraft rebate deal going on where you buy $25 worth of participating products and a $5 catalina will print at register along with a mail in rebate catalina for $20. So you pretty much get all your items for free BEFORE coupons! You actually earn money if you use coupons. When I went today they were out of almost everything I wanted but it being such a great deal no matter what you buy I got a few things:
4 big boxes Jello on sale for $1. Use coupon from SS 7/26 for $.50/2 AND doubler from Sunday paper. Final price: $.50 ea
5 boxes Macaroni and Cheese on sale for $.49 ea
1 bottle parmesan cheese on sale for $3.99

After the mail in rebate and the $5 catalina I will have made $9.00!!!

At Smith's they are having a GREAT Keebler/Kellogg's sale! In the ad it says buy 4 participating items for $2.50 ea then $4 will be taken off at checkout. But at some of the Smith's (including Provo) the participating items are only $2.00 instead of $2.50..... making them only $1 each after the $4 is taken off at checkout!!! Use your coupons and it's even cheaper!! You can only do 2 sets of 4 items (so $8 taken off at checkout) per transaction so I bought 18 items and did 2 transactions. Here is what I got:

Today (8/2) through Tuesday (8/4) Smith's will be doubling coupons!! There is no limit so get as many good deals as you can! When Smith's has done this in the past, the store gets wiped out pretty fast so the earlier you go the better! I hate that the sale starts on Sunday but I have always waited until Monday to go and have gotten everything I wanted! This week there is a great Johnson & Johnson catalina deal at Albertsons! If you buy $15 worth of participating J&J products a $5 OYNSO catalina will print at checkout! On PYP I found a couple of great ideas/transactions you could do to get the best deal. Modbe is having a big warehouse sale today (July 29) through Saturday (August 1) I went today and got a lot of really great stuff. Well there are a few things I wanted to post about tonight. First, as of this Sunday (August 1st) the Daily Herald will be the only newspaper that will continue to have both the Smart Source AND the Red Plum. The Salt Lake papers will only have the Smart Source (and the P&G once a month.) The Red Plum (only one booklet/insert) will be mailed to certain areas but not all, I am not sure the exact area that will be receiving them. So if anyone (in Utah County) would like to order more subscriptions to the Daily Herald, let me know!

Second, I am sure most of you have heard that Associated Foods has bought out Albertsons. I am not sure what is going to happen now but I am expecting some big changes in the near future. Hopefully, some how, we can continue to get the awesome deals we currently get at Albertsons. I will post more when I hear more about the changes and how it will affect all of us.

Today I went to Smith's since the Epic Sale is still going on at Albertsons and I have already hit that sale a few times in the past few weeks. I have not posted in so long!! There has been so much going on with vacations, family reunions, and a kid in the hospital, but I am back and to make up for it I am posting a couple of GREAT prices on cheese and milk. I know a few of you have already got this deal but for those of you who haven't here it is! There is a lot going on at Albertsons this week with their P&G sale, and a lot of free items with coupons! The P&G sale is buy $20 worth of P&G products and a $5 OYNSO catalina will print. A $3 off 3 select P&G products catalina will also print. You can use both of those catalinas on another transaction, making the items a great deal! The items that you can use the $3/3 catalina on are: Crest toothpaste, Gain, Herbal Essences, Joy, and Pampers. However, the $3/3 is a manufacturer coupon therefore you can not use other manufacturer coupons on top of that (but you can use the $5 catalina.) I know this gets really confusing but feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will do my best to answer them. :) Here is a list of the things I bought:

1 Charmin - Use coupon from P&G 4/5 for $.25/1 (or $1/1 from P&G booklet some people have)

Since we just got coupons for this deal in today's (4/5) newspaper, I haven't gone to the store yet so sorry I don't have a picture. But this deal is only good until Tuesday (4/7) so I wanted to post it ASAP so everyone can have a chance to go get some more cereal.....and this time some milk to go along with it!!!
At Albertsons, select Kellogg's cereal is on sale for $1.99. Use coupon from RP 4/5 (today) for $1.50 off any Kellogg's cereal 10 oz. or larger. Final price is $.49
There is also a catalina deal to go along with this sale and here are the details:

Buy 7 boxes of Kellogg's cereal get 3 catalinas for a free gallon of milk each (1 free gal. of milk/catalina)
Buy 5 boxes get 2 catalinas (2 free gallons of milk)
Buy 3 boxes get 1

To get the catalina you can purchase ANY variety of Kellogg's cereal. But, as stated above, there are select boxes on sale for $1.99. I am not sure of all the varieties that are included in the sale but they will have them marked at the store. Here are a few of the ones that are pictured in the ad:

One thing with the catalina that I wish I would have known before I bought the milk: it says "Free gallon of milk value up to $4.69" so you can get ANY brand even Winder Dairy! I just got the cheapest brand they had not knowing the maximum value I could get. Either way it's free milk so it's great!!!! :) ....................Wish I had more coupons to get more!! :)

I am overflowing with cereal right now so I don't/can't (no room!!) need to buy anymore. However, there is a GREAT deal on Post cereal right now at Albertsons that I wanted to let everyone know about (goes until 4/7)....
Post cereal is on sale for $1.57 when you buy two (varieties that are included are below.) There is also a catalina that will print, here are the increments you have to buy along with the value of the catalina:
Buy 3 get $2 catalina OYNSO
Buy 4 get $3 catalina OYNSO
Buy 5 get $5 catalina OYNSO

So if you bought 6 boxes of cereal you will pay $9.42 and will receive a $5 catalina OYNSO. If you do another transaction and use your catalina you will end up paying $4.42 which ends up being $.74/ box!!

I am sorry I have not updated on the sales this week. It has been a crazy week and, besides the double coupons at Albertsons, I haven't gone shopping. Here is a quick run down of the deals that I thought were good:

Smith's:
They are still having their Mega Event promotion going on with pretty much the same products as the last couple of weeks. There are a few more coupons that came out in this Sunday's paper to go along with the sale. For example, Dixie paper plates end up being $1.14 if you use the $.35 coupon we have.
They also have hot dog and hamburger buns on sale for $.79

Albertsons:
2 lbs select varieties of Cheese on sale for $3.99 (this is a GREAT stock up price but there is a limit of 2 per customer.)

Double coupons at Albertsons

Just wanted to let everyone know that Albertsons is doubling coupons again!! In the newspaper there are coupons that you can cut out and use with your manufacturer coupons. Albertsons will double the value of the manufacturer coupon for every one you use with each store coupon from the newspaper (only one coupon per store coupon.) Here is where you can find the coupons in the different newspapers:

SL Tribune - page A7
Deseret News - page A9
These coupons are only good thru Tuesday (3/17) so make sure you use them before they expire. I do not know how many they will let you use in each transaction. I am sure it will depend on your cashier/store. Last time my store let me use up to 9 per transaction. I will be posting all the good deals that I find tomorrow. This week at Walgreens there are a lot of great deals! I will divide the deals up into two categories (Register Rewards and Easy Saver Catalog) to make it a little easier. The Register Rewards (RR) is a catalina that will print to use OYNSO (or transaction.) The Easy Saver Catalog (ESC) is a little coupon booklet that you get at Walgreens in the rack with the ads. Even though, on the ESC coupons, it says limit 1 item per coupon, it will deduct the amount of the coupon for every identical you get. So you only have to cut one ESC coupon for however many of the same item you are getting. I hope that all makes sense.

Smith's prescription deal

This month Smith's is offering a great deal on transferred prescriptions. If you transfer your prescription to Smith's during the month of March (expires March 31st) they will automatically put $25 on your fresh values card. Then the next time you use your fresh values card, $25 will be deducted from your total. When you go to pick up your prescription, I would ask to make sure the $25 was put on your card.

This week there aren't very many GREAT deals. Albertsons is having a P&G sale where you buy $20 worth of participating products and you get a $5 catalina ONYSO. But there isn't much that is a great stock up price. However I had to go use my $3.50 catalina, from the fruit snacks a couple of weeks ago, because it was expiring in a couple of days. While I was there I found a couple of great deals.Frosted Flakes (also Raisin Bran and Cookie Crunch) on sale for $1.67. Use coupon from RP 2/22 for $.70/1 any Kelloggs cereal. Final price is $.97 ea

Pop Tarts are also on sale for $1.67. On select varieties there are "peelies" for $1 off that box. Final price is $.67

Old Orchard juice is $1.67 (not the best deal but I forgot to get a rain check for the Welch's grape juice when it was $1 and we really wanted some grape juice.)

Propel is on sale for $1 but they have some on clearance (in Spanish Fork they were in a cart in the meat department) for $.50. When you buy 4 a catalina will print for $1/4 any propel. Use the catalina for that transaction and the final price is $.25 ea (you can do multiple transactions if you want more than 4)

After using my $3.50 catalina my final price for all this was $2.78

**Also if you have some of the tear pads for the Yogos, now would be a great time to use them. Yogos are on sale for $1.67 so the final price with the tear pad would be $.67!

Cheap yogurt at WalMart

This week there are a few items on sale at Albertsons that are a great stock up price. For every $10 worth of selected items you get $3 off. This is not a catalina. The $3 will instantly be deducted off your total bill for every $10. You can do multiple groups of $10 in one transaction, which makes it nice so you don't have to divide everything up. Just make sure you have enough items to make the total a multiple of $10 (not 10 items.) There are 3 different price groups but you can mix and match from all 3 groups. Also don't forget to use your catalinas from last week as they expire soon! The prices listed below are after coupons/discount. There are a couple of great money making deals at Walgreens this week!
1-Reynold's aluminum foil (20 sq ft) is $.89 with in ad coupon. Also use coupon from SS 2/8 for $1/1 any Reynolds foil excluding 25 sq ft. Final price is +$.11 ea!

2-The Gillette Fusion Gamer razor is on sale for $8.99. Use coupon from P&G 2/8 for $4/1 any Gillette Fusion razor. Final price is $4.99 but a Register Rewards (catalina) will print for $6 OYNSO. Do another transaction for another razor and use another manufacturer coupon and your catalina and the final price is +$1.01

Just a heads up for those people in Springville.....the Walgreens there does not carry the Gillette Fusion Gamer razor. So you might want to try another store.

As far as giving you money back, each store/cashier is different. Some will take the amount off your total purchase if you are buying other items. Other stores will just give you the money. To be safe I always buy something else that is a good deal at the particular store and have it taken off the total price.

Get all your coupons together and check PYP or GrocerySmarts.........Albertsons is having a GREAT sale! This is a perfect sale to stock up on General Mills items like fruit snacks, cake mixes, pillsbury items, etc... For every 10 items you buy (there are alot of items to choose from) you get a catalina for $10 OYNSO. There is also a catalina that will print if you buy fruit snacks (info below.) Here is what I got. Each picture was a seperate transaction. The price is the final price after coupons/discounts. And just for the record, as you will see, I bought a TON of fruit snacks but I store them away and use them for "treats" like picnics, soccer treats, etc.. Just so you don't think me kids are on a sugar high every day! :)

Double Coupons at Albertsons

Starting tomorrow (2/4) Albertsons will be doubling up to 4 manufacturer coupons with their in ad coupons. In other words, in the ad there are 4 coupons that will allow you to double up to 4 manufacturer coupons. Just give the cashier the in ad coupons with your manufacturer coupons and they will double the value of the manufacturer coupon up to $2. (So $.50 will be $1 and $1 will be $2, etc.. but any coupon $2 and over they will not double.) The in ad coupons expire 2/10. I would love to hear what great deals you get!
